On the first day, you will arrive in Istanbul and visit our clinic. Our hernia specialist will conduct a consultation and a physical examination, including a comprehensive abdominal wall ultrasound scan.

You will have the opportunity to discuss every aspect of your hernia surgery with your surgeon. To make the most of this appointment, please prepare and bring any questions you may have regarding your treatment.

 On the morning of your surgery, you will be transferred to the hospital. There, you will be settled into your room and undergo preoperative preparations, including blood tests, any necessary additional tests, and an anesthesia consultation. After these preparations, your hernia repair surgery will be performed. Post-surgery, you will be taken back to your room.

Our professional staff will take care of you during your hospital stay. While you won't need an accompanying person, your loved ones are welcome to be with you at the hospital.

 Most hernia treatments are conducted as day surgeries, so you will likely be discharged on the same day as your surgery or the following day. We will provide you with all necessary medications for your recovery.

Even after you leave the hospital, we are here to support you. Simply call us, and we will respond immediately!

Before you depart, a follow-up appointment will be scheduled. During this visit, we will check your progress at our clinic. After this final check-up, you will be cleared to fly home. 

 We will continue to support you throughout your recovery period. A detailed operation report will be sent to you in the days following your surgery.
